Forest Archive / a Temporal Collection Years captured in fragments — bark memories accumulating, textures speaking across time.
Alex Besta's artistic practice is based on an archival-ritual approach to nature: During long walks in the forest, she collects found objects — marked by time and erosion — and transforms them into large-scale installations. In her studio, these become sculptural works in which found and recreated elements encounter each other, opening up a field of tension between natural form and artistic interpretation.
